Ile des Pêcheurs reunites the most essential conditions
for windsurfing and for cat-sailing. This special place,
between mountains and sea, is one of the most favourite spots
of Europe.
The Spot:
- In favour of different winds, the weather
conditions are exceptional and the environment enables
you to navigate in complete security. The saltwater lake
of Salses-Leucate (7000 acres) is known as one of the
most versatile of the region. With an easy starting zone
and shallow waters near the coast, it is possible to
navigate safely, as well for starters as for advanced
surfers. Advanced surfers could, depending on the wind
and the chosen surf area, try to wave, bump and jump
and speed slalom.
- Windsurf-lockers are available a few meters from the
lake.
Material:   
- For next season - in cooperation
with the surf-shop 'Surfone'
in Port-Leucate - we offer the latest top materials
funboards from Tabou and
sails from Gaastra.
- We have 2 Hobie 15-Catamarans for rent
or lessons waiting for you.
Courses:
- Our professional team teaches all levels,
starter or advanced, in English, German or French.
Quality and Services:
- The sailing school: windsurf-, fun board- and catamaran
lessons, private lessons as well as lessons for all levels,
material hire per hour, half-day and packages.
- Package Fun Club: for special moment
on the water and on land: daily weather reports, theory
and technical advice.
